MISE-EN-SCENE

LOCATION/SETTING:

It will be filmed at the Metro station Avenida de la Paz and Alfonso XIII. It will be a dark, silent night with a sense of tension.

PROPS:

During the film we will be able to see a variety of props that will create meaning in the film. The first one wil be a phone as she will be recieving messages and will be talking to her boyfriend by the phone.

Another prop will be a handbag with a laptop and university material such as books and pencilcase, as she is coming from university and needs to create meaning so the audience are able to interpretate.

Also as a prop the keys to open the house, so the audience is able to see that there is anyone when she arrives home.

As I will use airpods so it means that as she is listening music she is nos really sure that someone is chasing her but she can feel it.

COSTUME, HAIR AND MAKE-UP:

I will have 2 characters in my film, the first and main character will a 20 year old girl that will be wearing a casual day outfit as a white jumper with black jeans with ankle boots and a coat. She will have a messy pony tail and her makeup will be very natural as it is a university day.

For the second character it will be a boy that will be wearing a black hoodie and jeans. We are not going to be able to see his hair as he will have his hood on top.

BODY LANGUAGE:

Both characters will have different body languages, for example the girl will show quick movements when she starts to feel someone chasing her, as when she is arriving home and her boyfriend is ignoring her she will show nervous and stressed language to create meaning.

While the boy will show calm and relax moves as he is not in danger but while they are in the streets he demosostrates tension as he doesn´t want her to see him.

FACIAL EXPRESSIONS:

Again the facial expressions will be very different between characters. The girl will show different expressions as when feeling chased will show confusion and panic expressions. When she gets cross with her boyfriend she will shoy angry expressions and at the end of the film when she recieves the paper she will be shocked.

However, the boy will not show much facial expressions as he will be all the time covered by the hoddie with the inention that makes him look mysterious.

LIGHTING:

In my film I will use low key lighting, because as my film has horror genre low key lighting provides, deep blacks and darker tones with shadows. As it reduces lighting to produce contrasts and creates dramatic and mysterious senses. Also low key lighting is very effective and makes the audience be focused as they are engage making them see the whole film.
