COME PLAY:

Mise-en-scene: (propps, makeup, costumes, lighting, setting):

  • All starts with a boy inside a house, the boy has autism and has problems inside school.

  • We are able to see the setting changes into a school where all the children are the same and he is the different one.

  • His costume is based on young child clothes and he is just normal apart from his autism.

  • We are able to see how every time he uses the phone to see the ghost all lights go on and off all the time.

  • We can see every time they read the front cover of the book they are immediately traumatised and can't stop thinking about that.

Sound:

  • We are able to see while he is at school and outside of his house the background music is animated music but when he is in his house and suddenly passes the phone with the filter and it gets attached to someone when he is alone the music changes completely.

  • We can see that when it shows the house it is shown with a creepy sound to show the house is haunted.

  • Also we can see that when he walks through his house the floor starts cracking.

  • Every time the monster appears the music appears so the audience gets impacted.

Editing:

  • When he is in his bedroom playing with his phone and suddenly the filter gets attached we can see they used slow motion because it is an important part where the audience is supposed to get scared.

  • We can see they introduced different cuts when his friends get the book which shows the different perspectives of what is happening inside the house.

  • We are able to see how in the last part when all the family is getting affected the clips get faster so the audience are more intrigued in what is going to happen.

Camera:

  • Through the beginning they have used medium shots all the time.

  • When he is in his bedroom recording himself they introduce a close up to the ghost face.

  • When the dad is in a kind of cabine it is done with an extreme long shot to show he is in the middle of nowhere in a dark place and also it is a low angle shot.

  • The child starts flying and they use a high angle shot up the stairs.
