I decided to focus on a single character because my song is about a breakup. The song explains how she is over her ex boyfriend and how he is now trying to get back with her. Therefore, I used Katia as a main protagonist because I needed to portray how she was recovering of the breakup with the help of her friends and how he is still calling her and because she is the artist of the song .
I chose Katia because I considered her characteristics met the style of music video I wanted to achieve. Furthermore my familiarity with Katia made the filming much more comfortable and as I included her boyfriend in the music video it made it look much more realistic as they have a special connection.
In order to plan how we were going to shoot the music video, we first met in person and we analysed the lyrics of the song to decide what we were going to do throughout the song. Once the plan was finished and we had all the resources we needed, we met again to start shooting the scenes were she appeared alone. Then we met another day with the rest of the girls to record the missing parts. Finally, when I had all the scenes recorded, I started joining the scenes and I added the music.
