The song was mainly written in order to represent the moment when you get over somebody this is why throughout the song it says she is going out tonight as she doesn´t care about him anymore.
VERSE 1
It represents how the boy is going to see a picture of her and start thinking about how good she looks and how he is not with her anymore.
It is shwoing how ex boyfriend is coming back to her, trying to persuade her to be as before but she rejects coming back with him again.
She is showing how she is at the party drinking with her friends and she feels she is superior therefore she tells him he is alone in order to make him feel inferior and useless.
She is expressing a feeling of regret as her friends told her it was not a good idea to be with that boy and represents how love is so blind that makes you actually ignore your friends opinions.

She is going out with her friends, without boys and she is trying to show how she is having a nice time with her friends but he is still calling her.
After she has got over the sadness and the kind of feeling that the world is ending as they are not together, she is actually realising she is much more stronger and free without him.
He keeps calling her but she is basically ignoring him as she has no interest on him and wants to have a nice time with her friends.
She feels loved by the rest as everyone understands her therefore they are on her vibe and this shows how she doesn´t need him anymore.
VERSE 2
The song then repeats again therefore the significance of the verses are the same. Throughout the music video she has made a montage with different scenes because as the song repeats it looks less repetitive than repeating the whole music video again.
